What’s Inside the Stratocaster Pack
🎸 Modified HSS Stratocaster with Auto-split – A modern version of the standard HSS wiring configuration. The mod, similar to the wiring found in the Lonestar Stratocaster, adds resistorrs in parallel with the volume pot and individual tone pots for the single coils and humbucker. It allows the single coil pickup to ‘see’ a 250K volume and tone, while the humbucker ‘sees’ a 500K volume and tone. Each tone pot also has it’s own tone cap.
🎸 HSH 10-way Stratocaster Wiring – Expands on the standard HSH auto-split wiring by giving coil-split override in positions 1 and 5. It also gives neck and brisge split options in position 3 instead of the middle single coil, for a Telecaster type effect.
🎸 HSH Guthrie Wiring – A standard version of the HSH wiring used in Guthrie Goven’s guitars. Stripped back to just use his wiring options of auto-splitting humbucker and the addition of the middle pickup with either neck of bridge positions.
🎸 HSH Guthrie Chrvel Wiring – The current version of Guitheir Goven’s Charvel wiring, with a twist. This schematic uses a 5-way Superswitch and a 2-way mini toggel to create the single coil simulator wiring used in the Charvel.
🎸 HSH Guthrie Suhr Wiring with Blower switch – From Guthrie’s days with Suhr, his signaure guitar was a quiet powerhouse of tonal posibilies. Our version uses the 5-way Superswitch and pish/pull tone pot to achieve his pickup configuration. The additions on a blower switch allows you to bypass and pickup configuration and push the bridge humbucker to the jack at full power. No volume and tone pots in the way. Crank things up to 11 with one button!
🎸 Independent Tone Wiring – This modification works very well to overcomes the compromises of any HSS or HSH Stratocaster. With the limited controls, one of the pickup types is always slightly under powered. This modification allows you to have greater control over the tone of each pickup in your guitar.
🎸 Series / Parallel Stratocaster Wiring – This schematic gives you two Stratocaster is one! With the push/pull down, you have the standard 5-way Strat configuration. With the push/pull up, you get the options of the neck and brisge is series, the neck and middle in series, and the bridge and middle in parallel with the neck in series. This new combination gives and whole new tonal palette to your Strat.
🎸 3 Toggle Switch Wiring – A different approach to the Stratocaster wiring, with nods to guitars like Brian May’s red special, this wiring uses three 2-way switches instead of the traditional lever switch. Giving you pickup combination that are not normally available.
🎸 Hendrix mid ’60s Stratocaster Wiring – This is the diagram created by Bill Lawrence for Jimi Hendrix in the mid-‘60s. The wiring uses a master tone control and a blend pot to bring in the middle pickup. The wiring also uses the 3-way switch wired like a Telecaster, instead of a 5-way Stratocaster switch. The pickups used in the schematic are Bill Lawrence Microcoils.
🎸 Johnny Hiland JH6 Wiring – This wiring, inspired by Johnny Hiland’s JH6 from Kiesel blends both Stratocaster and Telecaster tones into one wiring loom. Positions 1,3, and 5 give standard Telecaster positions. Position 2 gives the positions 2 Stratocaster tones, while position 4 gives the middle pickup by itself.
🎸 Dan Armstrong Stratocaster Wiring – This modification adds a series-parallel blender pot to the standard Stratocater wiring. The mod allows the middle pickup to be blended in series with either the neck or bridge pickups, creating unique out-of-phase tones.
