This 9-pin jack socket has two isolated sides to it, allowing for stereo outputs. Either for a Sustainiac system and active pickups or passive magnetic pickups and a Piezo acoustic bridge system, such has Fishman Powerbridge, L.R. Baggs or Graphtech Ghost systems. This type of jack allows both circuits to work in isolation from each other, while still using the jack plug as a switch terminal.
